GoPro HERO4: Cementerio de la Recoleta in Buenos Aires, Argentina

If you plan on visiting the beautiful city of Buenos Aires (BA), spending a morning or afternoon at Recoleta Cemetery is an absolute must!

Akin to Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris - a bonafide tourist attraction. Also perhaps the 100th reason why BA and Paris are very similar! Good wine and cheese, fashionable locals, old school European architecture, green spaces, cafe culture…I could go on and on.

Here are some great shots I took with my GoPro HERO4 on a sunny summer day in January 2015.

Come see where some of the most wealthiest, successful and/or famous Argentines are laid to rest. You can definitely get lost in the windy narrow alleyways among the hoards of people pining to see Eva Duarte de Peron and other intricate mausoleums. Perhaps spot one of its many cat residents who apparently live there. It's quite a sight to see. The cemetery was very well maintained despite the true antiquity of the place. However it is not uncommon to see left in the lurch catacombs with broken glass…which was even cooler. Surprisingly there are no bad vibes or energy here either. At least I did not feel anything.

TIP: I recommend tagging along on an English speaking guided tour for invaluable insight - something I did not do but came across while getting lost on purpose.
